Independence Day

Every year, Malaysia will celebrate Independence Day on 31st August. In high school, I join the band. So in every independence day , we will join the kawad kaki show on the celebration of independence day. The celebration of the Merdeka National Level Celebration is held in Alor Setar. Therefore, a week before our show we will be doing the exercises. All students from Form 1 to Form 5 need to commit themselves because this is a national stage. So we will practice every evening from 3 to 6 o'clock. On the evening before the show, we will wash the instrument so that the instrument looks clean on the day of the show. So on the day of the show, members will wake up early as early as 4 am to get ready and take the bus. We perform the Dawn prayers in Alor Setar. After completing the dawn prayers, we will warm up and be prepared in the queue. There are many associations participating , including the JKR and the Silat Society. Many of the participating parties such as SASBAND, SAHCBAND and KHMB. At 9 o'clock, the event commenced with the procession of the contingents involved. The song played by my band is Perajurit and Keranamu Malaysia. The independence day is very lively because of the support and response from the residents of Alor setar who join there. During in the performance, the left and right attendees recorded our performances. The day was also disunited with giving price to the best team. The event was finished at 12 noon. After finishing, we headed to Pekan Rabu to eat after tiring. After completing the meal, we would gather in one place to get all the band members before go back to our school.
